Diana Schmidt

Diana Schmidt has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Diana started their career at FirstBank of Colorado in 1989 as an SVP and remained in that position until 2002. In 2003, they joined Alliance Bank as the VP Director of Audit and held that role for 17 years until 2020. Currently, Diana is working at Citizens Community Federal as the VP of Audit, a position they assumed in October 2020.

Diana Schmidt's education history includes a Graduate Certificate in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College from 1985 to 1989. Their degree from Luther College included studies in Business Management, Psychology, and Biology.

In addition to their formal education, Diana Schmidt has obtained several certifications. Diana became a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor (CCBIA) through the ICBA in September 2011, and a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO) through the ICBA in March 2020. Diana also earned a Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in January 2014. Furthermore, they obtained a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in February 2015.
