Dharma Maddala, Ph.D., MBA has extensive and diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Dharma is currently the Director of Operations at CCL Container since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Technology at CCL Container from February 2022 to August 2023.
Before joining CCL Container, Dharma was employed at Arconic as an Area Manager - Cold Rolling from September 2021 to January 2022. Dharma also served as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Rolling from October 2019 to September 2021, Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer from July 2018 to September 2019, Senior Portfolio Leader from June 2017 to June 2018, and Senior Leader from November 2016 to May 2017.
Additionally, Dharma worked at Alcoa as a Senior Leader from July 2015 to October 2016. Dharma held the position of Staff Scientist from April 2015 to June 2015 and Senior Scientist from January 2012 to March 2015.
Dharma also gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2007 to December 2011 and at the University of Rhode Island from August 2005 to August 2007.
Dharma'searly professional experience includes working as an Engineer in Process Design at AirLiquide from August 2004 to August 2005.
Dharma Maddala, Ph.D., MBA has an extensive education history. In 2000, they completed their undergraduate studies at Osmania University, where they earned a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, Dharma pursued their Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island, where they obtained an M.S. degree.
Dharma Maddala's academic journey continued at the University of Connecticut, where they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 2007 to 2011. After completing their doctoral studies, they focused on diversifying their knowledge base.
In 2017, Dharma attended the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business to gain expertise in operational excellence, supply chain management, and strategy. There, they obtained a Business Essentials certification.
Most recently, in 2021, Dharma pursued an MBA degree at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. During this program, their studies focused on leadership and business analytics certification.
