Debbie Irish has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Debbie served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work, where they promoted and supported meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities. Prior to that, Debbie was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the Geneva Centre for Autism, where they oversaw all aspects of the organization and led a team to exceed organizational goals. Debbie also held roles as Program Director, Manager of Provincial Projects, and Manager of respiteservices.com, where they developed and implemented various initiatives to support families and individuals in need.
Debbie Irish completed the Public Sector Leadership Institute program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2015 to 2016. In 2015, they also attended Queen's University for the Executive Leadership program. Additionally, Debbie holds a degree in Advanced Program in Human Resources Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, which they completed from 2012 to 2013.
