Danielle Piazza

Vice President at CCS Fundraising

Danielle Piazza brings more than 15 years of professional fundraising and communications experience to the clients we serve. As a Vice President, Danielle has engaged in and led CCS studies, campaigns and fundraising strategy for many organizations including Weill Cornell Medicine, St. Mary’s Abbey and Delbarton School, Morris Catholic High School, Partnership Schools, Montclair Kimberly Academy, Minds Matter, ADAPT Community Network, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Estuary Council of Seniors and Bidewee.

In the beginning of her career, Danielle worked as a fundraising professional for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, helping to establish a national peer-to-peer fundraising platform for the Foundation. She was also the Senior Director of Fundraising for the SeriousFun Children’s Network founded by Paul Newman (where she spearheaded leadership and major gift fundraising, strategic planning, development operations, volunteer management, and board development).

Danielle also has varied experience with her clients beyond traditional campaigns and principal and major gift strategies, including working with start-up organizations, partnership building, financial planning for programs and online fundraising platform development.

Combining her professional and personal passion together, this past year, Danielle and a long-time friend joined forces to establish an independent animal rescue and sanctuary in western Massachusetts – Second Chance Stables & Draft Rescue. Currently, Danielle is serving on the newly established board of directors as chairman.

Danielle and her husband Rich, along with their two children, live in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Danielle is an avid reader, enjoys traveling with her family, and volunteering in her community, including at her children’s school.
