Douglas H. London

Executive Vice President at CCS Fundraising

Doug London has been with CCS for more than eight years and in fundraising for his entire professional career. Having grown up in a household where giving back was prioritized, Doug learned at a young age the power and value that philanthropy can have in communities around the world. Today, he brings forward this same philosophy to his children and continues to be driven by the ability to make a positive impact through his career.

As a lifelong learner and empathetic leader, Doug believes that every successful partnership starts and ends with mutual learning – providing to his clients strategic, action-oriented counsel and learning just as much in return. He begins every client engagement with the knowledge that the right answers are not immediately known but discovered, believing that the best solutions, recommendations, and path forward are established by building trusting, enduring relationships.

As an Executive Vice President, Doug leads a variety of partnerships and client engagements across the United States and beyond. His areas of expertise include fundraising planning, leadership and major gift strategy, donor stewardship, volunteer mobilization, and development staff coaching and management. Doug feels it’s a humbling privilege to work alongside such talented minds to accomplish great things through philanthropy.

Outside of his day-to-date role at CCS, Doug is focused on community and charity in his personal life. He is active with the Lake Forest College Alumni Board, the Alzheimer’s Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), National Association of Independent Schools, CEEP Network, and the Association Foundation Group. Within CCS, Doug co-founded the PRIDE at CCS Employee Resource Group and serves as its Executive Sponsor. He is also a member of the firm’s DEI Working Group, the Working Parents Community, and provides executive leadership to the Central US Recruitment Committee.

Doug is a native Chicagoan and received his bachelor’s in Communications & Politics from Lake Forest College; Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and competing in triathlons.
