Lily Ayala Berlyn

Vice President at CCS Fundraising

Lily Ayala Berlyn is a successful fundraising professional with more than 30 years of experience. During her eleven-year tenure at CCS, she has worked with clients on development audits, comprehensive campaign planning studies and fundraising campaigns, raising more than $500 million. Lily worked at the University of Missouri-St. Louis as Senior Director of Development for Colleges & Units where she was responsible for fundraising efforts for the various colleges and constituencies across campus during the University’s first campaign, a $150 million effort. She previously served as Vice President of Advancement at The Dominican Campus in Nashville, overseeing fundraising, alumni relations and marketing efforts for St. Cecilia Academy, Overbrook School and Aquinas College. She headed alumni relations for UMass Lowell and Loyola University New Orleans and worked with the American Red Cross.

Lily serves on the development committee of the Andrew Jackson Foundation and Aquinas College. In addition, Lily has been a member of the Association of Fund-Raising Professionals, served on the board of the Planned Giving Council of Middle Tennessee and served as mentor to a group of colleagues within CCS.

Lily is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Spanish. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Lily grew up in Miami and has called Nashville home since 2002. She lives with her husband, Mark, and two rescue Beagles.
