Bikalpa Upadhyaya

Bikalpa Upadhyaya, PhD, is a Software Engineer II at CData Software since September 2025, previously holding the position of Software Engineer at Cequence Security from November 2022 to August 2025. Prior to this, Bikalpa was a Doctoral Researcher at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research from January 2017 to April 2021, where research focused on implementing various machine learning models for anomaly and attack detection in wireless IoT networks, demonstrating over 25 percent improved performance. Bikalpa earned a PhD in Internet of Things Security from the National University of Singapore in January 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kathmandu University, completed in 2014.
