Gina Smith

Gina Smith possesses extensive experience in public health and program management, currently serving as a COVID-19 School Liaison at the CDC Foundation since December 2021. Prior to this role, Gina worked for Population Services International from 2006 to December 2021, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Program and Supply Chain Manager-Haiti, Acting Country Representative/Chief of Party, and Deputy Country Representative in both Zambia and for West & Central Africa projects. This experience involved organizational oversight, donor relations, proposal development, and team management across multiple country offices, along with significant achievements in program design and implementation. Gina's earlier career includes service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology-Zoology from the University of Michigan.
