Margaret Hernandez

Margaret Hernandez, MPH, is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Contact Tracing Team Lead at the CDC Foundation, where leadership of a five-member team involves managing responses to public health issues such as COVID-19 and other communicable diseases for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. With a history of conducting over 25,000 bilingual case interviews as a Communicable Disease Investigator, Margaret has demonstrated a strong commitment to efficient disease tracking and management. Additional roles include serving as a Public Health Analyst Consultant for Miami-Dade County and working as a Public Health Consultant at Children's National Hospital. Margaret holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Informatics and Analytics from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from American University.
