Fabio O'Brien

Fabio O'Brien is currently the Associate Director for Management & Operations at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they contribute to public health management. They previously served as a Public Health Management Specialist at the CDC from 2020 to 2024 and held roles such as Coordenador de Gestão e Governança and Assessor de Diretoria at the Ministério da Saúde between 2006 and 2018. Fabio started their career as a researcher at UNICAMP – Instituto de Economia from 2005 to 2006. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, a specialization in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a Master's degree in Public Health from FIOCRUZ - Fundação Oswaldo Cruz.
