Johanna Lackner Mph

Johanna Lackner, MPH, MSW, is an experienced medical writer and trainer currently serving as the Senior Director of Continuing Professional Development at The Doctors Company since June 2020. With significant expertise in medical writing, Johanna operates Avant Consulting, LLC as the owner, and provides freelance medical writing and training through Johanna Lackner Medical Writing. In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Johanna presents workshops as an Invited Medical Writing Trainer. Previous roles include Senior Medical Writer positions at Execupharm for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and ObvioHealth, as well as leadership experience as the President and Founder of InQuill Medical Communications. Johanna’s educational background includes an MSW and MPH from the University of Michigan, along with a postgraduate internship in psychiatric epidemiology at the National Institute of Mental Health.
