Oscar Rincón-Guevara

Oscar Rincón-Guevara is an experienced Lead AI Engineer and Senior Data Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where expertise in AI initiatives has supported enhanced data migration processes and improved public health decision-making through advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and AI solutions. Prior to this role, Oscar contributed significantly as a Senior Service Fellow, enhancing data utilization and leading studies that improved public health efficiency. Oscar's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, complemented by extensive research and teaching experience, as well as a strong commitment to social innovation and the optimization of health and logistical systems in Colombia.
