Patrick Winders

Patrick Winders is an accomplished Supervisory Contract Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, leading a team managing over 200 contract actions annually and overseeing a diverse range of acquisitions including Research and Development and laboratory services. With a strong background in federal procurement, Patrick has successfully guided complex projects, such as a $275M BSL-4 laboratory procurement and a $105M IDIQ contract. Previously, Patrick served as a Program Analyst at the Federal Transit Administration, where oversight of 200+ grants contributed to a 95% on-time project completion rate for major capital construction. Early career experience includes contract management for CDC and consulting roles with Chenega Government Consulting and auditing at the Georgia Department of Revenue. Patrick holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Georgia.
