Paul Livingston, MPH, has extensive experience in public health with a focus on infectious diseases and community health initiatives. Currently a Quarantine Public Health Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since October 2012, Paul has participated in critical evaluations and field investigations addressing parasitic infections and foodborne outbreaks. Previous roles include contributions to research at Emory University on HIV/AIDS prevention through faith-based organizations and support for international HIV/AIDS studies in Rwanda and Zambia. Educational qualifications include an MPH in Global Health from Emory University and a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Biology from Western Michigan University. Paul is recognized for a compassionate approach to patient care, having provided hospice support prior to specializing in public health.
