Paula Williams

Paula Williams is an experienced communication professional currently serving as the Associate Director for Communication at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since June 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing the Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology. Previous roles at CDC encompassed leading communications for the newly established Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division. Prior to this, Paula held positions as Program Manager at Chenega Corporation and Research Director at Reagan Consulting, Inc. While at Deloitte, Paula was a Senior Consultant, and earlier, worked as a Health Scientist at CDC. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Health/Medical Psychology from Northcentral University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University, complemented by experience as a Research Coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinator.
