Susan Cha

Susan Cha, PhD, MPH, is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since July 2016. Prior roles include Research Associate/Graduate Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University from August 2011 to June 2016 and Congressional Fellow on Women and Public Policy at the Women's Research and Education Institute, providing health legislative assistance to Rep. Roybal-Allard. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Virginia Commonwealth University and a role at the Virginia Department of Health within the Division of Child and Adolescent Health. Susan Cha holds a PhD in Epidemiology and an MPH in Epidemiology and Community Health from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a BA in Psychology (Neuroscience) from the University of Virginia.
