Jessica Abbate

Jessie Abbate, PhD, is a research scientist and project manager at GEOMATYS, focusing on geospatial "big data" analytic solutions and academic science applications related to the spread of infectious diseases. Jessie also holds positions at the World Health Organization and The GRAPH Network as a senior epidemiologist, and adjunct research scientist at Laboratoire TransVIHMI (IRD & INSERM) working on emerging pathogens and epidemiology of coinfections. With a background in Biology, Jessie has conducted research at various institutions, including CNRS, University of Virginia, and University of Bern, collaborating on research in evolutionary epidemiology and infectious diseases.
