Emily Bear is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and disease surveillance, particularly within Native American communities. Currently serving as a Trainee Fellow with the AIM-AHEAD All of US Traineeship in AI/ML, Emily Bear has previously held significant roles, including Epidemiologist II at Kauffman & Associates and Staff Epidemiologist at United South and Eastern Tribes, where responsibilities included conducting disease surveillance for 33 Tribal Nations and facilitating COVID-19 response measures. Additional contributions include training Urban Indian Organizations on public health initiatives and managing teams in various capacities. Emily Bear holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Colby-Sawyer College.
