Venkatesh Narayan

Venkatesh Narayan is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in various roles. Venkatesh served as a Scientist at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences from September 2014 to February 2020 and currently works as a Public Health Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since March 2020. Previous roles include Senior Program Officer at the International Clinical Epidemiology Network New Delhi (2013-2014), Technical Project Coordinator at CARE India (April 2011 - November 2011), and Research Fellow at the Public Health Foundation of India from December 2011 to October 2013. Venkatesh began the career as Child Survival Coordinator for the UNICEF office in Bihar between January 2009 and September 2010. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
