Kavi Unadkat

Kavi Unadkat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development impact investments and policy advisory roles in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Development Impact Executive for CDC Group plc, Kavi focuses on private equity and debt investments in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, particularly within the Construction and Real Estate, Food, Agribusiness, and Forestry sectors. Previous positions include Senior Programme Manager at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where Kavi managed renewable energy investments, and Senior Policy Adviser at HM Treasury, leading initiatives related to vaccines, global health, DFID policy, and low-carbon energy financing. Kavi's early career involved advisory roles in EU financial legislation and policy positions related to financial services and corporate tax. Kavi holds a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
