Tony Barengo

Tony Barengo began their work experience in 2002 as a Credit Specialist at Bank of Albuquerque. In 2003, they moved on to work as a Commercial Loan Underwriter at US Bank. In 2005, Barengo joined CDC Small Business Finance as a Senior Vice President and Credit Manager. Tony later became the Head of Commercial Real Estate, leading a team of 30 people focused on providing financing for small business owners looking to purchase commercial real estate. CDC Small Business Finance achieved great success under their leadership, becoming the top 504 lender in the United States in Fiscal Year 2022, approving over $592 million in SBA 504 loans.

Tony Barengo completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Finance at UNM Anderson School of Management from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) with a focus on Finance at San Diego State University.
