Sierra Alley

Sierra Alley has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and companies. Sierra began their career in May 2020 as an Advertising and Communications Intern at CDLLife.com. Sierra then transitioned to the role of Content & Community Moderator in August 2020, where they were responsible for moderating content and engaging with the community on the website. In May 2021, Sierra was promoted to Copywriter, utilizing their writing skills to create compelling content for the company. Most recently, starting in May 2022, Sierra serves as the Director of Communications, overseeing the communication strategies and initiatives of CDLLife.com.

Prior to their time at CDLLife.com, Sierra worked at the Kansas State University Foundation from January 2019 to January 2021. As a Stewardship and Donor Engagement Assistant, they played a vital role in creating a positive donor experience at the university. Sierra'sresponsibilities included assisting with the planning and execution of Foundation events, creating personalized acknowledgement cards and gifts, editing scholarship letters, and managing expense reports for the department.

Sierra Alley completed their education at Kansas State University, where they pursued a degree in Strategic Communications with a minor in Business. Sierra attended the university from 2018 to 2021. In 2022, Sierra participated in a short-term program called Learning @ Morning Brew but did not receive a degree or specific field of study during this time. Sierra also obtained several additional certifications, including proficiency in the Sprout Social Platform from Sprout Social, Inc. in January 2023. In August 2022, they earned the Turning Point · CDLLife Summit 2022 Summiteer certification from CDLLife.com. Sierra obtained the Credly Platform Practitioner certification from Credly in June 2022. Additionally, they completed the Morning Brew Accelerator program offered by Learning @ Morning Brew in March 2022.
