Tamara Scheidt

Tamara Scheidt, CHST, is a seasoned Senior Health and Safety Specialist currently employed at CDM Smith since October 2023, overseeing safety on various heavy civil construction and emergency response projects. Previously, Tamara served as a Safety Specialist at Kokosing, managing safety on a USACE project and contributing to the Honda/LG EV battery manufacturing facility project. Tamara’s career includes roles as Safety Manager at Muhlhauser Steel, Emergency Manager at WSP USA, and Senior Safety Officer at The Daniel Group, among others. With a strong background in safety management on diverse projects, including environmental remediation and emergency responses, Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Columbia Southern University and is pursuing further education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
