Clare Price

Clare Price has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Clare began their career in 1993 as a Project and Portfolio Manager at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where they were responsible for project managing the drug development process across multiple disciplines. Clare then progressed to Clinical Scientist and Senior Clinical Scientist roles, where they were responsible for the design, set-up and delivery of multiple global clinical studies for key candidate products from phase I to IV. In 2004, they moved to Acrux as Clinical Manager, where they were responsible for management of the clinical department, including all aspects of clinical development for clinical candidates and line management of the clinical team. In 2007, they joined Starpharma as Clinical Programme Director, where they held responsibility for the strategy, design and all aspects of execution of clinical development programs for drug and device candidates within the company. In 2016, they moved to Commercial Eyes Pty Ltd as Director of Clinical Development, where they headed up the Clinical Development Team, responsible for delivering successful clinical development programmes for their clients. Finally, in the same year, they joined Opthea as Director of Clinical Development, where they had responsibility for the strategy and delivery of the wet-AMD clinical development programme within the company. In 2022, they moved to CDR-Life Inc. as Clinical Operations Leader, where they have responsibility for building and delivering the clinical operations strategy for the company.

Clare Price attended Bath Spa University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a BPharm degree in Pharmacy.
