Daniel Lenherr-Frey

Project Lead at CDR-Life

Daniel Lenherr-Frey has a long and varied work experience. In 2007, they worked as a PostDoc at the University of Zurich. Daniel then moved to the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, where they worked as a PostDoc from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they joined ESBATech a Novartis Company as a Scientist Biophysics & Formulation. In 2013, they were promoted to Team Leader Protein Engineering at the same company. In 2017, they joined Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as Team Lead Biologics Engineering and Gene Therapy, where they were responsible for engineering of scaffold proteins, multispecifcs and AAV technologies, as well as project lead for next generation ophthalmology products. In 2020, they became Project Lead at CDR-Life Inc.

Daniel Lenherr-Frey obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemie from the University of Zurich between 2000 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom in Chemie from Universität Freiburg between 1994 and 2000.
