Sona Chawla is chief growth and innovation officer for CDW. Chawla leads the growth and innovation team which includes CDW’s product and partner management, strategy and marketing, operations and IT and eCommerce organizations who collectively are responsible for determining the portfolio of products and solutions that CDW sells, delivers, and manages for our customers, enabling the company’s customer-facing teams to better serve customers and shape the customer experience.

Chawla joined CDW in 2020 having previously worked at Kohl’s where she most recently served as president, and prior to that, chief operating officer. Prior to Kohl’s, Chawla was with Walgreens for over seven years, where she served in a variety of senior leadership roles including president, digital and chief marketing officer. Prior to joining Walgreens, Chawla was vice president of global online business at Dell, Inc. Before Dell, she worked at Wells Fargo’s Internet Services Group, where she held several roles including executive vice president of online sales, service and marketing. Chawla also worked at Andersen Consulting and Mitchell Madison Group.

Chawla earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Wellesley College and a master’s degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management. She serves on the board of directors for CarMax.
