Guillermo Corea

Guillermo Corea serves as the Chief Business Innovation & Growth Officer at the American Psychological Association since January 2024 and is an Advisory Board Member for the Velocity Network Foundation, a nonprofit governing the Velocity Network. Previously, Guillermo held the position of Managing Director for the Workplace Innovation Lab & Venture Capital at SHRM from March 2015 to January 2024, where an innovation laboratory was launched to explore the future of work. As Director of Digital Media & Business Development at SHRM, Guillermo managed revenue-generating partnerships and developed new products. Guillermo's career also includes significant roles at Scripps Networks Interactive Inc., Ciena, TMG, Web Management Group, Spirent Communications, Burness Communications, and Trade Compass, showcasing expertise in digital strategy, marketing, and business development. Guillermo obtained an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a degree from the University of Lynchburg.
