Andrew van de Looi

Application Engineer at CEAD Group

Andrew van de Looi has a diverse work experience. Andrew began their career as a Studiecoach and Huiswerkbegeleider at Lyceo, where they provided support to secondary school students in planning, completing, and studying for school assignments. Andrew also served as a Customer Service Representative at PostNL from July 2019 to July 2021.

In 2021, Andrew joined GKN Fokker as a Six Sigma Analysis intern, where they updated the six sigma tool used for product control and analysis in the A350 outboard flap assembly line. Andrew also developed skills in programming Excel tools using VBA.

Andrew's most recent position is as an Application Engineer Intern at CEAD Group from September 2022 to January 2023. Andrew subsequently transitioned to a full-time role as an Application Engineer in February 2023. In this role, they conduct research on the feasibility of new applications and materials in large-scale additive manufacturing. Andrew is responsible for testing new applications with the extruder, executing quick analysis and pilot projects, and researching process guidelines.

Andrew van de Looi pursued their education at Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace engineering, specializing in Luchtvaart- en ruimtevaarttechniek, also known as Aeronautical engineering. In addition, Andrew obtained a certification in EF Cambridge English - B2 from EF Education First in August 2012.
