Daniel Calin

Daniel Calin has extensive experience in the information and communication technology sector, currently serving as Chief Information Officer at CEC Bank since March 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel held various leadership positions at BRD - Groupe Societe Generale from November 1991 to March 2024, including Chief Technology Officer and executive director, where responsibilities encompassed managing technology infrastructure projects, directing IT operations, and overseeing the Security Operation Center. Daniel's expertise includes leading ICT project teams for core banking transformations, managing card operations, and developing IT systems and networking. Education includes an EMBA from ASEBUSS and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
