Donald Groesser

Donald Groesser, P.L.S. has over 30 years of work experience in the surveying industry. Donald is currently the Vice President and Corporate Survey / Geospatial Practice Lead at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), where they are responsible for strategic visioning, leadership, business development, and marketing efforts. Prior to their current role, Donald was the Principal and Office Survey Practice Lead at CEC from 2014 to 2017. Donald has also served as the Director of Surveying at Sanchez and Associates and as the Project Manager / Professional Land Surveyor at Ament, Inc. Other previous roles include Department Manager at Environmental Design International, Inc., Owner of Crossmark Surveying, LLC, and Project Manager at SEC Group, Inc. (Smith Engineering, now HR Green). Donald began their career as a Survey Tech / Technical Manager at Survey Systems of America in 1990.

Donald Groesser, P.L.S. completed their education in three different institutions. From 1984 to 1985, they attended Judson University in Elgin, IL. Donald then pursued their education at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, IL from 1986 to 1992. Lastly, from 1999 to 2019, they engaged in Professional and Management Training. No specific degrees or fields of study were mentioned for any of these educational experiences.
