Gaizka Santisteban

Gaizka Santisteban has extensive experience in financial risk management and consultancy, currently serving in the Balance and Liquidity Risk department at Cecabank since October 2008. Prior to this role, Gaizka worked at KPMG Advisory for two years, focusing on financial risk management and participating in projects related to management control, credit risk, and model validation. Gaizka's career began as a Senior Consultant at SAS from April 1998 to October 2006, where expertise in SAS programming was applied across various projects for notable organizations such as Grupo Santander and La Caixa. Educational qualifications include a specialist degree in treasury and finance from IEB, a Masterclass in SAS programming from the University of Deusto, and a Licenciado in Computer Science from the same institution.
