Chrysanthi Moschandrea is a postdoctoral researcher at CECAD Cologne since August 2022, currently working in the Frezza lab. Prior to this role, Moschandrea completed a PhD as a researcher at the University of Cologne from October 2017 to June 2022 in the Pasparakis Lab. Additional experience includes a research fellowship at CECAD Cologne and a master's dissertation project at the University of Liverpool, focusing on long non-coding RNA deregulation in lung cancer. Earlier research positions include a research assistant role at the University of Crete and internships at the University of Düsseldorf and Creta InterClinic Hospital. Chrysanthi Moschandrea holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Cologne, a master’s degree in the Molecular Basis of Human Diseases from the University of Crete, and a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Thessaly.
