Diabetes Health Coach at Cecelia Health

Elise Swenson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Pharmacist at Senior Care Pharmacy. In 2013, they joined Community Nursing Services of Utah (CNS) as a Pharmacist. Starting in 2012, Elise became a Diabetes Health Coach at Cecelia Health, where they provided integrated care to patients with chronic diseases. In 2015, they transitioned into the role of a Diabetes Fit4D Coach at Cecelia Health, where they personalized lifestyle plans, provided motivation and support, and empowered individuals living with diabetes to take a more active role in their health.

Elise Swenson has a diverse education history spanning several years. Elise started their academic journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Utah, a program they pursued from 1976 to 1981. Following this, they continued their education and obtained a Master's of Science degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from the same institution, attending from 1984 to 1986.

In their pursuit of higher education, Elise then enrolled at the University of Phoenix, where they completed a Master's of Arts degree in Organizational Management between 1986 and 1988. Building on their interests in family history, they embarked on a course of study at Salt Lake Community College from 2018 to 2020, attaining accreditation in Family History.

Currently, Elise is working towards completing their education with a Bachelor's degree in Family History from Brigham Young University - Idaho, a program they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2024.
