Megan Flaska has a diverse work experience in the field of nutrition and diabetes care. Megan is currently employed at Cecelia Health as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Megan'srole involves providing specialized care and education to patients with diabetes.

Prior to their current position, Megan worked at Children's Minnesota as a Pediatric Dietitian. In this role, they provided outpatient nutrition therapy for various conditions including diabetes, obesity, hyperlipidemia, insulin resistance, and failure to thrive. Megan also conducted group classes on diabetes basics and carbohydrate counting.

Before joining Children's Minnesota, Megan served as the Nutrition Service Director at Extendicare Inc. Here, they were responsible for maintaining the nutritional status of 175 residents and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care to all residents. Megan also conducted nutrition education on topics such as diabetes, renal disease, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.

Megan Flaska completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics/Dietitian at Arizona State University from 2002 to 2006. Megan then pursued their Master of Science degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2006 to 2007.
