Kiril Kovachev

Kiril Kovachev, MBA, CPA has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Kiril currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at CECO Environmental Corporation.

Prior to their current role, Kiril worked at Lennox International, where they held various senior leadership positions. Kiril was the Senior Director of Consolidation and Corporate Accounting, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L for the company's refrigeration segment. Kiril also acted as the interim CFO for the German business for six months and played a key role in successfully divesting the Australian, Brazilian, and Asian businesses. Additionally, Kiril served as the Senior Director of Global Business Processes and Global Controller for the Refrigeration Segment, managing accounting and compliance activities for multiple business units across continents.

Before joining Lennox International, Kiril worked at Celanese as the Global Director of Celanese Audit Services, leading a global audit team and implementing Enterprise Risk Management. Kiril also held the position of Senior Manager, Technical Accounting, reviewing public filings and leading operational and financial integration activities for acquisitions.

At IBM, Kiril served as the Controller for Americas Open Infrastructure Offerings and Accounting Manager for U.S. Strategic Outsourcing. Kiril managed various financial functions and played a crucial role in financial deal making and consolidation activities.

Kiril started their career at Deloitte & Touche LLP as an Audit Manager and worked at J.H. Cohn LLP as an Audit Senior, overseeing audit engagements and managing financial services entities involved with asset-based lending and litigation support.
