Gerhard Greyling

Gerhard Greyling has a diverse work experience spanning over various industries and roles. Gerhard began their career at AfriSam, where they served as a Commercial Analyst and later became a Business Application Implementation Team Leader. Gerhard was responsible for implementing the Sales & Distribution business processes of the SAP R/3 suite and played a key role in business process re-engineering. Gerhard then worked as a Business Development Manager, identifying new distribution terminals and preparing feasibility studies.

Gerhard then joined EDS Group, where they held several positions including SAP Managing Consultant and Head of Sales. In these roles, they led the implementation of SAP Enterprise Software engagements in the Automotive, Mining, and Manufacturing sectors. Gerhard also spoke at conferences on e-commerce and digital supply chain topics.

Following their time at EDS, Gerhard joined HCL AXON as an Executive in the Enterprise Solutions business unit. Gerhard managed a team of consultants specialized in implementing SAP-based IT solutions for large retail corporations. Gerhard later became a Programme Director, responsible for overseeing the overall profitability and success of the business unit.

After their tenure at HCL AXON, Gerhard joined Wipro Limited as a Director. Gerhard served as the Client Partner and Director of Banking, as well as the Director of Industrial & Natural Resources for Africa. In these roles, they were involved in financial solutions for banking clients and managed relationships with key clients in the industrial and natural resources sector.

Most recently, Gerhard is employed at CEDA Citizen Entrepreneural Development Agency. Gerhard currently holds the position of CIO/Digital Protagonist at CEDA Development Finance Bank in Botswana. Specific details regarding their responsibilities and achievements in this role are not provided.

Gerhard Greyling holds a Masters in Business Leadership (MBL) from the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL) which they completed in 1994. Prior to that, they completed an Executive Programme in Business-to-business marketing Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 1993. In 1988, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg, and in 1983, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Accounting from the same university. Gerhard Greyling also holds an Associate General Accountant (AGA(SA)) certification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Gerhard attended Goudrif High School from 1976 to 1980.
