Roger Baugher is currently an adviser at Cedar.AI. Prior to this, they were the president of RWB Consulting from February 2001 to March 2006. Before that, they were the manager of planning and schedules / manager of transportation planning – equipment at Grand Trunk Western Railroad from November 1984 to March 1989.
Baugher has spent their career in the railway industry, developing systems to streamline program deployment and providing users greater insight into operational issues. Roger is skilled in Excel, including macro programming, and has many years’ experience working with and analyzing operational data. This experience has helped him visualize yard operations, model and improve yard processes, analyze blocking quality, understand and improve interchange performance, and address other issues to improve railroad operations.
Roger Baugher has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in transportation and finance. Roger also has a Master of Science (MS) in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in railroad engineering. Their undergraduate degree is in civil engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
