Lauren Costigan Rdn, Cald

Lauren Costigan, RDN, CALD has a diverse work experience. Lauren began their career as a food service worker at Hungry Howie's Pizza in 2012. In 2014, they worked as a waitress at Tin Fish Restaurant. Lauren then served as a dietetic intern at Michigan State University from 2017 to 2018. Following their internship, they worked as a wait manager at BOBBY MACS BAYSIDE TAVERN & GRILL from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Life Time Inc. as a registered dietitian, group training coach, and personal trainer. Lauren transitioned to Cedarbrook Senior Living in 2019, initially working as a corporate dietitian and hospitality coordinator. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at Cedarbrook Senior Living.

Lauren Costigan, RDN, CALD, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Western Michigan University in 2017. In 2014, they also attended Macomb Community College to pursue a Certified Nursing Assistant program.

In addition to their formal education, Lauren has obtained several certifications. Lauren became a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in July 2018. Lauren also holds certifications in Certified Assisted Living Director from the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards since May 2023, Certified Dementia Practitioner from the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CERTIFIED DEMENTIA PRACTITIONERS, LLC since November 2020, ServSafe Manager from the National Restaurant Association since August 2019, CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross since January 2019, ServSafe Allergens from the National Restaurant Association since June 2016, and Certified Nurse Assistant from the State of Michigan since August 2014.
