Heather Ashcraft, MS RDN CDN, serves as a Clinical Dietitian at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities since November 2021 and June 2021, respectively. With extensive experience in various clinical settings, Heather has also worked as a Clinical Dietitian at HCSG Clinical Services, LLC, Baystate Health, and Hartford HealthCare. Additionally, Heather holds the position of Food Service Director at Camp Waubanong Inc since May 2016. Heather's educational background includes a Master of Science in Dietetics from Colorado State University, alongside degrees in dietetics at Life University and pre-med at UMass Boston. Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities, a specialized medical facility and school in Keene, New Hampshire, provides round-the-clock skilled nursing care, special education at Cedarcrest School, and speech, occupational and physical therapies onsite for up to 26 children, infants through teens. We offer exceptional medical care and education in a warm, nurturing, home-like setting for children with high risk medical conditions and significant disabilities, including children who require high-tech medical support. Cedarcrest Center is widely recognized as a model for best practices in the care and education of children with complex medical and developmental needs. As the only intermediate care facility in New Hampshire serving children exclusively and the state’s principal provider of post-acute medical care for children under three years of age, our core service is residential care (one month up to several years). We also offer a range of options to meet the needs of families who care for their medically fragile children at home, including short-term residential stays (less than one month) and a day education program,
