Alexandra Mendoza

Alexandra Mendoza is an accomplished Program Manager in Business Development and Licensing at Cedars-Sinai, with experience dating back to January 2019, including roles as Senior Associate and Associate in the same department. Prior to Cedars-Sinai, Alexandra worked at UCLA from July 2012 to December 2018, serving as a Graduate Student Researcher in Materials Chemistry, where research focused on slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces and surface-interface interactions. Alexandra also held the position of Senior Technology Fellow at UCLA Technology Development Group, providing technology assessments and managing marketing materials. Other experiences include roles as a Technology Fellow, Graduate Student Teaching Assistant, and an MBRS-IMSD Undergraduate Research Scholar at San Diego State University. Alexandra holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Chemistry from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from San Diego State University.
