Seth Hamman

Seth Hamman is an experienced cybersecurity professional who has held various roles throughout their career. Seth began their journey in 2004 at Christianity.com/Silas Partners as a Technical employee, where they worked until 2006. Following this, Hamman joined HMB as a Senior Consultant from 2006 to 2009. Seth then worked at Pariveda Solutions as an Associate from 2011 to 2012 before joining Cedarville University in 2012. At Cedarville University, they played dual roles as an Associate Professor of Cyber Operations and Computer Science, as well as the Director of the Center for the Advancement of Cybersecurity. In 2020, Hamman became a Reservist at Ohio Cyber Reserve.

Seth Hamman holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at Yale University from 2009 to 2011. Seth Hamman also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religion from Duke University from 1998 to 2002. Their high school education was acquired at Circleville High School from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Seth Hamman has obtained various certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GPEN, GLEG, and multiple certifications from EC-Council.
