Dan Tofan

Dan Tofan is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and information security, currently serving as Service Excellence Manager and Cyber Security Program Manager at Cegeka since May 2022. Previously, Dan held the position of Security Program Manager at Secureworks from May 2018 to April 2022. Dan's experience includes a role as Project Manager for Network and Information Security at the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) from May 2015 to April 2018, where responsibilities encompassed managing incident reporting and management activities. Additionally, Dan was Technical Director at CERT.RO from June 2011 to April 2015, overseeing incident handling and risk management. Dan's early career included a position as a WEB developer and Information Security Officer at the Ministry of Internal Affairs from January 2006 to June 2011. Academically, Dan earned a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Cyber Security, as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science for Business Management.
