Geert Hermans is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as a Principal Security Advisor at Cegeka since September 2025, Geert specializes in enhancing clients' cybersecurity postures through strategic guidance and customized solutions. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Officer at ABERDEEN Services, where Geert led the information security strategy for Besins Healthcare, and various advisory positions focusing on data protection and information security at Privatum and Alan Allman Associates. At District09, Geert was the primary point of contact for information security, ensuring a stable and secure ICT infrastructure. Geert’s extensive experience includes roles at ALTEN BELGIUM and its subsidiary Axen, where project and technical leadership in cybersecurity were key responsibilities.
