João Miguel Henriques

João Miguel Henriques has a diverse work experience in the field of risk management and data analysis. João Miguel currently holds the position of Head of Credit Risk and Data at Cegid, where they are responsible for optimizing decision-making and resources using AI/ML techniques. Prior to joining Cegid, João served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Koalaboox and Head of Risk and Internal Control at BNI Europa. João Miguel also has extensive experience in credit risk management, having worked as the Head of the Credit Risk Management Department at Groupe Cofidis Participations. Additionally, João has held positions as a Senior Consultant at Credirisk and an Operational Consultant at Dura Automotive. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, team management abilities, and expertise in risk policy definition and credit scores models development.

João Miguel Henriques holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics to Economy and Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, obtained between 2015 and 2017. João Miguel also has a Master of Science (MSc) in Complexity Sciences from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, completed from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, João Miguel Henriques obtained a Licenciatura degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, which they pursued from 2000 to 2006. João Miguel has also earned several certifications, including Anti-Money Laundry and Terrorism Finance from IFB - Instituto de Formação Bancária in 2016, Influence & Positive Power from Conceito O2 in 2014, Executive Coaching from Conceito O2 in 2013, Liderança Dinérgica from Dynargie in 2010, and SAS Macro Programming from SAS in 2007.
