Dmytro Maslov is a Principal Engineer at CEiiA, focusing on accelerating the development of sea robotics prototypes and integrating sensing systems. Dmytro has been a PhD student at Universidade do Minho since February 2017, contributing to the NEXT-SEA research project on coastal monitoring systems. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at CIIMAR, where Dmytro worked on acoustic field trials and deep learning for cetacean vocalization classification, and an Early Stage Researcher at Universidade do Algarve in the Signal Processing Laboratory. Dmytro's background also includes roles as an Acoustic Engineer at Kyiv Scientific Institute of Hydrodevices, specializing in underwater transducer development, and as a Computer Technician at Compleksnyi Servis. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ocean Engineering from Universidade do Minho and a Master's in Acoustic Facilities and Systems from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
