Gillian Fyfe

Gillian Fyfe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Gillian is currently working at The Scottish Government as a Transformational Lead in the Digital Health and Care Directorate. In this role, they focus on citizen-centered stakeholder engagement and the development of telecare service models. Gillian also works on telecare data programs, service design methodologies, and collaborations on national and international innovations. Additionally, they develop good practice guidance and resources for partners and promotes a culture of innovation in the sector.

From 2016 to 2021, Gillian worked at Alzheimer Scotland, initially as the Head of Digital and later as the Digital Lead. In these positions, they worked with industry partners, health and social care partnerships, and the Scottish Government to develop digital products and services for people living with dementia. Gillian also worked to ensure their voices were heard in technology development strategies and pathways for access. Additionally, they supported organizations in delivering dementia-friendly services and created digital products co-designed by families living with dementia.

Prior to Alzheimer Scotland, Gillian worked at the Council for Voluntary Organisations East Ayrshire Ltd as a Strategic Lead for Social Enterprise from 2012 to 2019. Here, they played a key role in shaping strategies to support social enterprises in the region.

Gillian's work experience also includes a role as an Online Sales Manager at Carrick Cooperage, where they focused on developing and growing the company's online presence and customer base. Gillian also worked as a Learning and Development Manager at Aspire2gether and as an ICT Trainer/Administrator at the South Carrick Open Opportunities Project.

Gillian Fyfe completed their education history as follows.
