CEITEC
Milan Ešner is currently the Head of Core Facility at CEITEC. Prior to this position, they worked as a Senior Researcher at Masaryk University from January 2013 to December 2017. There, they were a senior microscopy specialist. Before that, Milan worked at Max-Planck Institute of Cell Biology and Genetics from July 2007 to December 2012 as the High Content Screening facility. And before that, they worked at Institut Pasteur from January 2003 to June 2007 in the Department of Developmental Biology where they researched the embryonic origin of vascular smooth muscle cells and regeneration of adult skeletal muscle.
Ešner has a PhD in mouse embryonic stem cell from Mendel University in Brno and an MSc in animal physiology from Masaryk University Brno.
Milan Ešner works with Petra Balga - Deputy Head of Grant Administration Department & Project Manager, Ivan Rektor - Head of Research Centre, and Radovan Fiala - Head of Core Facility. Milan Ešner reports to Pavel Tomancak, Director.
