Global Director Molecular And Cellular Biology at Celerion

Johannes Stanta's work experience includes several roles in the field of molecular and cellular biology. Johannes is currently the Global Director of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Celerion, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Freeline as the Director of Bioanalysis (Gene Therapy) from January 2021 to July 2022. Prior to Covance, Johannes was the Head of Laboratory Services at Hammersmith Medicines Research Ltd from 2011 to 2014. Johannes led and managed an accredited pathology and biomarker laboratory, provided scientific and regulatory leadership, and oversaw a team of scientific staff and managers.

Earlier in their career, Johannes served as a Director at FC Business Intelligence Ltd from 2009 to 2011. Johannes also worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Cambridge, focusing on biomarker discovery for schizophrenia, and as a DOC Research Fellow at the Austrian Academy of Science.
