Megan Shannon

Megan Shannon has a diverse work experience in various roles. Megan started their career at Drake Software as a Customer Service Representative, where they provided technical support for different programs and websites. Megan also had responsibilities such as writing training material, facilitating new hire classes, and assisting with IT-related issues.

Later, Megan joined Sarah Cannon Research Institute as a Clinical Data Analyst and then transitioned into the role of Clinical Programmer. In these roles, they contributed to data management and analysis for clinical trials.

Currently, Megan works at Celerion, where they have held multiple positions. Megan started as a Senior Clinical Data Manager, responsible for maintaining the integrity and consistency of data in the company's databases. Megan then became a Principal Clinical Data Manager, providing comprehensive data management expertise and ensuring the quality standards required by sponsors and regulatory bodies. After that, they were promoted to the Manager position, where they supervised staff, facilitated project assignments, and maintained quality standards.

Currently, Megan is serving as an Associate Director of Clinical Data Management - EDC at Celerion. In this role, they are responsible for strategic growth within the EDC team, evaluating data management systems, managing staff, and ensuring client satisfaction. Megan also oversees database development and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Megan Shannon obtained their High School Diploma from Macon Early College in 2010.
