Richard Sollars

Richard Sollars has over 30 years of work experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier development. Richard is currently the Sourcing & Procurement Director for Valves, Closures, and S&N Pump at Celeros Flow Technology. Before this role, they were the Director of Supplier Quality and Development and APAC Sourcing Centers at the same company. Prior to joining Celeros Flow Technology, Richard worked at Sulzer, where they held various positions such as Regional Head of Site Services AME, Head of Supplier Development in Global Procurement, Sourcing/Supplier Quality Manager, Suzhou Sourcing Center Manager, and Procurement Manager. Richard also has experience working at Generic Parts Service, Inc. as a Sourcing Manager, Boyd Corp as a Purchasing Manager, Allied Systems as a Parts Buyer, and the US Army as an Accounting Specialist.

Richard Sollars completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Marketing from Portland State University from 1988 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1991 to 1992. In addition, they obtained a lifetime certification as a C.P.M. from the Institute for Supply Management in the year 2000.
